Puttanesca & Filetto

	Trying out new pasta sauce recipes April 2020 Ron and I both love to cook, but the quarantine has inspired us to try some new dishes. My Spanish teacher also loves to cook and in our virtual zoom classes he has been telling me how simple tomato sauces can be, so I took on the challenge of trying something new.




	Trying my first Puttanesca sauce.


	Puttanesca is a simple tomato sauce with anchovies and capers, two things I love!




	Before serving you toss the "al dente" cooked pasta into the sauce to coat it.


		It was really simple and delicious.





			A few days later it rained cats and dogs all day long, it's our fall and it's been very chilly heading into winter, so it was another good day to try a basic "Filetto" sauce.



Filetto sauces are very simple, the only thing I added that wasn't in the recipe was mushrooms, I love mushrooms.



Ron likes AllRecipes.com, I like Epicurious.com, but this recipe I found on food.com



	My Spanish teacher says that ñoquis are really easy to make, but they're even easier to buy already made!


	As I was preparing dinner, the sky cleared and it was a beautiful evening.


	After it raining all day, it was nice to see the sun as it set. Crazy day!

Ñoquis cook really fast, so I just added the filetto sauce and it was ready!

With a little Malbec wine, a very nice meal!

Lola and Rocky were trying to keep warm!
