After 12 years of the Kirchners A New Era! December 10th, 2015 Argentina swears in a new President! Mauricio Macri - President Gabriela Michetti - Vice-President
People were hanging Argentine flags on their balcony to celebrate the new president.
So I pulled mine out to hang on our balcony.
Dec 10, 2015 was the swearing in day for the newly elected president. There was a 12 year rule for the outgoing administration so people are hopeful of positive changes for the country with some new blood in the casa rosada.
I watched for about 2 hours, it was very exciting.
His car was a 4 door VW!
His wife and kids.
Mauricio Macri's first words to the congress before being sworn in and there was a waiter behind him with a tray of waters and reaching past him to fill their glasses, I couldn't believe that!
I couldn't believe they would allow a waiter with a tray of waters to be serving while he's giving his inaugural address.

The congress building is really beautiful.
After the speech to congress, they had a cavalcade down Ave de Mayo to the Casa Rosada for the swearing in ceremony.
Once sworn in, they receive a presidential sash and scepter.
